Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1/4 cup melted white or dark chocolate

  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce

  • 1 tablespoon fruit preserves

  • 1 tablespoon liqueur (Baileys, Grand Marnier)

Dipping Options:

  • Fresh strawberries

  • Sliced bananas

  • Apple slices

  • Brownie bites

  • Pretzels

  • Graham crackers

  • Marshmallows

Instructions

  • Prepare the Base:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.

    • Mix with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

  • Adjust Consistency:

    • If the mixture is too thick, add more heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, until it reaches a smooth, dippable consistency.

  • Heat the Fondue:

    • Transfer the mixture to a fondue pot or double boiler.

    • Heat over low heat, stirring frequently, until warm and creamy.

    • Keep the temperature between 120°F to 140°F to avoid separation.

  • Serve and Enjoy:

    • Arrange dipping options on a platter.

    • Provide fondue forks or skewers for easy dipping.

    • Keep the fondue warm during serving.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, stir in melted white or dark chocolate.

  • To prevent lumps, sift powdered sugar before mixing.

  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds.

  • For a boozy version, add a splash of liqueur like Grand Marnier or Baileys.
